Microsoft's 'Project Emma' is a Wearable for People Living with PD

(May 15, 2017) - At Build 2017, Microsoft unveiled a wearable device called "Emma." It is a wrist wearable that can help people living with Parkinson's disease write and draw by reducing their tremors. The Emma Watch uses vibrating motors -- similar to those found in mobile phones -- to distract the brain into focusing on something other than trying to control the patient's limbs. Read more
